I can divide fractions by fractions using multiple strategies, including fraction models.
I can find common factors less than or equal to 100.
I can find common multiples less than or equal to 12.
I can divide multiple digit decimals.
I compute fluently multi-digit decimals using all operations.
I can use the distributive property to express a sum of 2 whole numbers (1 - 100).
Test Dates - quiz dates subject to change based on student readiness
Quizzes will be announced the day before, unless it is a pop quiz.
Unit assessment - the middle of September
Tentative Assignments Due - Show all necessary workout to receive full credit. Actual assigned problems may vary, based on student understanding.
All assignments are due by the start of class the following day to receive full credit. Fluency practice will continue on paper. Accelerated math assignments are available for all students.
Problem set for each lesson is tentative homework. We are doing a spiral review for homework on Monday thru Thursday. We go over the homework on Friday. The bottom one or two rows are things we are learning or just learned.
Your child has homework nightly on the Monday-Thursday worksheet for the week.
Upcoming Activities - Our first STAR assessment is during the week of September 10-14. Our first CASE assessment is September 24.
